"I’m Ben, the founder of Disco. I’ve always taken good care of my skin, but until I created Disco, it felt like an endless journey of trial and error with brands that never spoke to me.

While growing up, my mother and our family dermatologist, Dr. Eva, ensured I was regularly using a cleanser, a moisturizer, and a sunscreen. I often used products and regimens designed for women because there wasn’t much of an alternative at the time. Over the years, my skin care habits evolved into a more advanced routine, which included eye cream and the occasional face mask and scrub.

Despite having a good idea of which products I should be using, my needs were not being met by a male-oriented brand that was using ingredients and regimens designed for someone like me. Like many guys, I was also confused about the exact benefits of ingredients and what order I should use my products. On top of that, I was disappointed by the lack of ingredient transparency and sub par ethical practices followed by many brands.

All of this led me to start Disco. I made this skincare line for guys like me, guys like us."
